Attitude of Gratitude
Have you ever just want to complain about a situation you were in or a time when you were not getting your way. Haven’t we all!!
With Christmas just around the corner it is the time of year when we get the most greedy. Reason I think so is because I do it myself. I see all the gifts everyone is getting and think “I need that!” or “Why cant I be as luck as them!.”
God says in the bible that “Do all things without grumbling or disputing,” – Philippians 2:14. When when we complain about a problem or situation; all that does is give the devil a chance to provoke great problems in your life.
Instead of complaining about of problems or situation, let’s choose to respond to the Lord each day by developing an “attitude of gratitude”. Don’t just do this every once and while, create a lifestyle of doing this everyday. Create an “attitude of gratitude.” Just be thankful and grateful for where Jesus has you in life at that specific time in your life. If we do this we could change the world!!
“Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. Even if I am to be poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me.” – Philippians 2:14-18
Prayer of Thanks: Father, thank You for the way You provide for every area of my life. Instead of complaining about what I want or about what I don’t have, I choose to be grateful for everything I do have. You have been good to me—thank You for Your goodness.
